Group meeting on admission is Thursday


The meeting of the Vice-Chancellors will be held next Thursday (September 29) on the admission process for the academic year 2021-22 of the 22 general, science and technology universities under the cluster. All matters of admission process will be finalized in that meeting.

This was confirmed to The Daily Campus by Professor Farid Uddin, Convener of Batch Admission Test Organizing Committee and Vice-Chancellor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

He said, we have a meeting next Thursday regarding admission. In Jagannath University, the Vice-Chancellors of all the universities will be present in the meeting. This meeting has been called to discuss how the admission process will be completed.

Earlier, on Tuesday (September 20), Jagannath University (Job) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Under the chairmanship of Imdadul Haque, a technical committee meeting was held on the admission process in Jobi Campus.

Sources said that the meeting mainly discussed the issue of batch admission process software. The website that will be used in the cluster's centralized admission process; Its working pattern, application process are discussed. In this meeting of the group, there was no discussion about the admission notification of the group. 

The cluster committee said that it is planned to complete the cluster admission test process within the next one month. In this case, the batch admission committee wants to complete the entire admission process within one to one and a half months.

It is known that the students who want to get admission in the cluster university have to apply for admission. There is no chance of admission without application. Merit list will be published according to university and subject preference in view of students' application. After that students will get admission opportunity.

This time only one application can be applied to 22 universities. For this, 500 taka will be required for each unit and if you get an opportunity to get admission, you will have to pay 5000 taka to guarantee your admission. No one will get admission without admission guarantee. Along with this, all the documents required for admission should also be submitted. 

Apart from this, the university in which an aspirant will be considered for admission, will be adjusted according to the rules of that university.

Earlier, the admission test for cluster 'A' unit, humanities 'B' unit on August 13 and commerce 'C' unit on August 20 were held simultaneously at 57 venues in 19 centers across the country.

85 thousand 582 students in 'A' unit, 48 thousand 106 students in 'B' unit and 23 thousand 228 students in 'C' unit have passed this year's admission test of the batch.
